This year's entries took the competition to a whole new level. Next year will be absolutely incrediable. It's unbelieveable but this time next year, most applications will probably be demo'ed on some version of Windows Vista or Windows Mobile 2005. Build a team of 4. Next year you will need a diverse team. Software engineers with deep technical experience are key, but graphic designers and marketing/presentation experts will be needed to close the deal. Start work Now! Most teams that made the final round have been working on their systems for some 8 or more months. Sure, the theme hasn't even been announced yet. But that's too bad, you'll have to adapt your application to the theme at a later point! And remember if you find yourself sleeping you are not working hard enough. Create a mind blowing presentation. You have 25 minutes to demonstrate your perpetual motion device and sell ice to Eskimos. You will need flashy powerpoint, flashy demos, and mind-blowing concepts. You should distribute only clear and well rehearsed information. Good luck! (Yes.. Unfortunately good luck is also important).
